ROSEMONT, IL—McShane Construction Company has just completed the construction of Greenleaf Manor, an affordable housing complex in north suburban Glenview, on behalf of developer, Daveri Development Group, LLC. Located at 3345 Sanders Rd. between Milwaukee Ave. and Willow Rd., the new homes were McShane's second construction assignment completed for Daveri within the last 12 months. In May 2013, McShane finished Myers Place, a 39-unit permanent supportive housing development in suburban Mount Prospect.

"McShane Construction is pleased to deliver its second affordable housing assignment to Daveri Development Group, LLC within a very brief time period," says Jeffrey A. Raday, president of Rosemont, IL-based McShane. "We appreciate the opportunity to contribute our project team's extensive experience in high-quality multi-family construction to meet the goals and objectives of our valued client."

Greenleaf Manor was designed to support 20 units of townhome-style residences arranged in three buildings in two- and three-story formats. The complex provides 10 two-bedroom, five three-bedroom and five four-bedroom floor plan options. Each townhome is equipped with an in-unit washer and dryer, integrated parking garage on the ground floor and contemporary, energy-efficient finishes, fixtures and appliances.

The development also has wood frames and James Hardie® fiber cement exteriors. McShane also completed the sitework for the assignment including sidewalks, community garden areas and additional surface parking.

Low Income Housing Tax Credits helped finance the development. Cordogan, Clark & Associates provided the comprehensive architectural design services while Manhard Consulting, Ltd. provided the civil engineering services for the assignment.
