HOUSTON—Transwestern continues to expand its tenant advisory services in Houston with their second addition this year. The firm added Chris Wadley as a vice president with the tenant advisory team.
Earlier this year Transwestern named Justin Leighton as managing director in response to the growing team.
The Houston office market has seen remarkable growth and Transwestern is anticipating that to continue due to the sustained demand in the area. Houston office vacancy, now at 10.1%, ended 2013 at its lowest point in 30 years, notes Transwestern in a market report. With high demand for office space, competition is growing among tenants, especially in class A properties.
"Houston is a key growth market for us, and we are thrilled to have Chris' energy, enthusiasm and team spirit there," says Amber Strang, executive managing director and corporate lead for tenant advisory services at Transwestern. "Chris' drive to discover and deliver unexpected value to his clients reflects the uniqueness of our firm nationwide."
Wadley has negotiated office, industrial and building sale and lease transactions, totaling over 600,000 square feet across the US.
