- The mood at the Mid-Atlantic ICSC was positive and upbeat this year.
- Attendence was very good - there was a lot of activity and the conference as a whole seemed to buzz.
- More tenantswant to open locations and more developers ready to step up the plate to build.
- New product is entering the pipeline driven by low interest rates high demand.
- In the DC area, there hasn't been much retail built since the recession and it looks like that is beginning to change.
- DC has very low retail per capita and with the young and the affluent moving back to the District, there is room for new construction in our market.
- DC continues to be a very popular location for investment and is still observing very low cap rates.
