FLORHAM PARK, NJ-Avison Young has gained the leasing assignment for The Silverman Group's 135,000-square-foot office complex on Hanover Road here.
The recently renovated complex has two matching three-story office buildings with a landscaped center garden. It is set amidst a downtown that has lately been revitalized and has maintained a very low vacancy rate, says AY's Peter C. Hedley, who is managing the office leasing assignment.
Hedley says the complex offers the advantage of suburban-style amenities within walking distance, plus proximity to major regional thoroughfares.
The complex is close by Routes 24 and 10, with quick access to Interstates 78, 287 and 280.
The buildings have newly renovated lobbies, common areas and landscaping, as well as a full-service café and on-site management. The Royal Bank of Canada, a premier investment bank, is the complex's largest tenant.
The borough of Florham Park has upgraded infrastructure in its downtown area to spur revitalization. The borough recently celebrated the opening of the first bar-restaurant. Also, Trader Joe's specialty grocery has opened a large-scale store here.
The borough is home to the practice facility of the New York Jets.
