NEW YORK CITY-BOMA/NY held its Oscar-style Pinnacle Awards ceremony Thursday night at Chelsea Piers, where 550 commercial real estate executives and their supporters were in attendance. Ten awards were given out, with some suspense surrounding the honors as all building awards are kept secret until the envelopes are opened on stage.

Vornado Realty Trust led the evening with three awards while Monday Properties took home two. Paramount Group garnered the Pinnacle in the operating office building 500,000 to one million square feet category for the third year in a row and also for three years running, women dominated the manager of the year competition in the over 10 years of experience category.

BOMA/NY president Thomas Hill paid tribute to each nominee for "their courage in taking a spot on the playing field of competition that inspires us to greater achievements as individuals, companies and as an industry." BOMA/NY executive director Roberta McGowan also was recognized for the anniversary of her 25 years of service to the association.

And the winners are: outstanding local member of the year, Louis Trimboli, CBRE; historical building, 230 Park Ave., owned/managed by Monday Properties, manager-Josiah Brock; new construction: Four World Trade Center, owned/managed by Silverstein Properties, manager-Alex Riveira; earth: 2 Penn Plaza, owner: Vornado Realty Trust, manager-Vornado Office Management, property manager-Annie Leone; corporate facility: 731 Lexington Ave., owner-Vornado Realty Trust, manager-Vornado Office Management, property manager-Bert H. Lok;

Renovated building: 1330 Ave. of the Americas, owner: RXR 1330 Owner LL; manager-RXR Property Management, property manager—Dana Dinolfo; manager of the year, three to 10 years: Brian Jauntig, Monday Properties; manager of the year, over 10 years of experience: Joanne Porrazzo, Vornado Office Management; operating office building 500,000 to 1 million square feet: 131 W. 52nd St., owner-40 W. 53rd Associates Limited Partnership; Manager-Paramount Group; Property General Manager: Steven Griffith; operating Office Building over 1 million square feet: 1185 Ave. of the Americas, owner/manager: SL Green Realty Corp., property manager: Adam Rosner.
