PARSIPPANY, NJ-Emergency Medical Associates has expanded its headquarters by 24,000 square feet at KRE Group's building here.
The hospital emergency-room service provider now occupies a total of 70,000 square feet at 3 Century Drive where it first leased space in 2011,
Cushman & Wakefield's Jon Williams orchestrated the transaction.
“EMA has grown substantially and expects to continue on its current path of progress as the healthcare industry evolves,” said Williams, who brokered the original lease as well as the recent expansion.
He said, “The space at 3 Century Drive is a great fit because it provides built-in flexibility to accommodate my client's changing needs.” Williams is based in C&W's Morristown office.
EMA has grown rapidly in the past 18 months, increasing its client base from 19 to 28 emergency departments in New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island and, most recently, Pennsylvania. EMA and its affiliated companies – Inpatient Medical Associates, eMedical Urgent Care and Proven Healthcare Solutions – employs about 200 in the Parsippany office, which handles management service and billing.
