PHOENIX—Clear Title Agency of Arizona announces the promotion of Debbie Olsen to vice president of escrow operation. Her primary focus will be implementing policies and best practices related to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Olsen's responsibilities will include working with the firm's branch managers and escrow officers to provide continuing education on current local and national customs, laws, procedures and compliance with CFPB regulations.
She will continue to manage the company's production software and escrow operations and serve as a coach and liaison between the settlement/escrow and title insurance/underwriting aspects of the company's operation.

Olsen began her career in 1990 and was previously a branch manager at Capital Title and The Talon Group, a division of First American.
“I cannot remember a time when our industry has changed more than it has this year with the regulatory change brought about by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau” Olsen says. “Implementing the best practices as set forth by the CFPB has been challenging yet energizing. Making sure that Clear Title is the industry leader in the ever changing regulatory environment while meeting the needs of our customers is one of my highest priorities. And, ensuring that we educate our staff and clients about these regulatory changes will further enhance our reputation as an authority within our industry”
A resident of Phoenix, Olsen attended Arizona State University and serves as a mentor at Central High School through the Valley of the Sun United Way.
