KINGWOOD, TX—Signorelli Company of Conroe, plans to develop a 100 acre medical district as part of its 1,400-acre, master planned Valley Ranch community. The medical district will be anchored by a new hospital in Kingwood.

Valley Ranch Medical Center, a new 250-bed acute-care hospital, will be located at the intersection of the Grand Parkway and Highway 59. The plans for the hospital have been reported here previously, but the Houston Business Journal notes the developer recently detailed the broader plans for the Valley Ranch district on it's website. That would include support for more than 250 physicians.

Signorelli and other players in Houston real estate note that development along Grand Parkway, which will link Katy to Kingwood will change the face of development in the greater Houston market.
