HOUSTON—Global data center services provider CyrusOne has broken ground on a 45-acre Houston West data center services campus along Beltway 8 in Houston's energy corridor.

The company was to host a ceremony Thursday at the site. Upon completion, the new facility will include 428,000 square feet of raised floor capacity, 86,000 square feet of class A office space, and up to 96 megawatts (MW) of critical load. This third facility serves to increase data center capacity available at the Houston West campus to more than 1 million square feet.
