DENVER—Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants plans to expand its Colorado footprint with the management of a ground up construction, four star hotel that will be part of the Union Station revitalization and redevelopment.

Slated for a late 2015 opening and located in the up and coming “LoDo” (Lower Downtown) neighborhood adjacent to Denver's iconic Union Station, the new 200-room hotel will be part of a larger mixed-use redevelopment project that is currently underway by Continuum Partners in collaboration with East West Partners in the Union Station Neighborhood Company, the master developers of Union Station neighborhood, to revitalize and restore the historic area and central transit hub.

The overall Union Station Neighborhood, when completed, will include office, commercial, retail and residential space, and several public plazas as well as the central transportation hub serving as a main artery for trains, buses and bikes into and out of the city.
