LOS ANGELES—The CIM Group and Denihan Hospitality Group have revealed plans to build the first West Coast location of the James Hotel, and the first ground-up hotel project in West Los Angeles in 30 years. The hotel will be located on a CIM Group Sunset Strip site at the corner of Sunset and La Cienega Boulevard.
This will be the fourth James Hotel in the country, along with locations in Chicago, New York and Miami. The CIM Group is designing the new West Hollywood location with two, 10-story towers and a total of 286 guestrooms. Onsite amenities will also include rooftop and lobby bars, 10,000 square feet of meeting space and retail space. “CIM has selected the James as the perfect boutique hotel brand for this location; built with warm, modern design, and enriching the guest experience through authentic, local cultural experiences and intuitive service,” says David Duncan, president of Denihan Hospitality. “As a brand, the James is mindful of the needs of our neighbors, and we look forward to becoming an integral part of the West Hollywood community.”
