EAST WINDSOR, NJ-Following award of a business incentive grant to remain in New Jersey last fall, McGraw-Hill Education has leased 23,200 square feet at 104 Windsor Center Dr. here. The digital learning company office is relocating within the township.

Last October, the Economic Development Authority awarded a 19-year grant of BEIP grant of $1.26 million and a BRRAG grant estimated at $236,250 to help the company develop a stand-alone location in East Windsor for its education division. A space-sharing agreement with McGraw-Hill Financial was due to expire at the end of 2013..

McGraw-Hill said it considered moving the operations to New York, which would have meant the loss of 105 jobs here. Another 40 positions are to be created with the move.

The deal at the Windsor Center building brings the renovated office and research structure to full occupancy of its 68,000 square feet. Thomas Romano of Colliers International represented landlord ML7 Windsor LLC in the deal. Jeffrey Babikian, Nicholas Nemeth and Adam Englander of CBRE represented McGraw-Hill.
