TEANECK, NJ-White Lodging has been hired to manage the Marriott at Glenpointe here, which was developed and is owned by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.

The 345-room hotel and conference center is part of the Glenpointe complex situated at the crossroads of I-80 and I-95.

White Lodging's Keith Shopnick, who has managed the Westin Austin at the Domain and most recently the JW Marriott Indianopolis for the company, will be the general manager at Glenpointe.

“The Marriott at Glenpointe has a prime location close to New York City, local airports, the Meadowlands Sports Complex and many of the area's top leisure attractions,” said Shopnick. “The hotel delivers outstanding customer service, exciting culinary options and is the place to hold events in Northern New Jersey.”

The hotel at 100 Frank W. Burr Blvd. is only three miles from the George Washington Bridge and 15 minutes from Manhattan.

The hotel's lobby, restaurants and 26,500 square feet of meeting space recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation. The lobby was transformed to reflect Marriott's “Great Room” concept, which features comfortable seating and room to work, socialize or relax.

Founded in 1945 by Alfred N. Sanzari, the Hackensack-based Alfred Sanzari Enterprises is a second-generation family owned and operated business.
