LOS ANGELES—Faring Capital has selected RKF as the exclusive leasing agent for its 17,595-square-foot retail center under construction in at West Hollywood. RKF Southern California president Robert Cohen, EVP Rachel Rosenberg and director Kristen McCann are leading the leasing efforts.

“We are targeting lifestyle tenants that are a bit edgier, and we are looking to find some cool and eclectic California brands,” Rosenberg tells GlobeSt.com. “This is a true flagship opportunity because of the corner location. It really has an exceptional presence on the street, and we are looking to capitalize on the presence and bring in a brand that wants to showcase themselves in West Hollywood.” In addition to quality finishes and phenomenal ceiling heights, the two-story property features subterranean parking and a rooftop terrace.

Located at 8711 Melrose Ave., the development sits on the corner of San Vicente Boulevard in the burgeoning West Melrose retail district, which has been attracting high-quality fashion tenants. “Art and design have always been well served on this stretch of Melrose, but the newness of West Melrose is really in the fashion tenants that are launching there,” says Rosenberg, who adds that there is strong competition for these spaces. Although the team hasn't finalized any leases yet, she said the firm is in talks with several potential tenants and is close to signing a lease with a significant tenant.
