LOS ANGELES—Charles Dunn Co. has hired Lou Zonta as senior director of brokerage and business development, GlobeSt.com has learned exclusively. Zonta brings 30 years of commercial real estate experience to the company, and will focus on active brokerage deals throughout the region.

“I really believe in people first, and the reason I joined the firm was because of the level of tenure, the professional approach and the collaborative nature of the various offices in the organization,” Zonta tells GlobeSt.com. “This is a well-knit organization that offers all of the services that I have been involved with over the years.” Zonta has been involved in hundreds of deals across the public and private sectors, including office, retail, mixed-use residential and commercial buildings, hospitality projects and high-tech facilities.

“Lou has a terrific background. He has an uncanny and creative ability to think about connections of people, opportunities and assignments that are available in and around our existing practice groups within the company and connecting them also to our clients or our potential client base,” Darrell Levonian, Charles Dunn Co.'s executive managing officer, tells GlobeSt.com. “He is a value-add player for us and someone who is instrumental in helping us add to our already existing relationships.”
