PHOENIX—Tempe Marketplace, a 1.3 million square-foot regional center, announces plans to open a Nordstrom Rack, DSW, and Total Wine in 2014. Developed by Vestar and located in Tempe, Tempe Marketplace offers strategically integrated shopping, dining and entertainment in a pedestrian-oriented village town center environment.

Opening mid-April will be Designer Shoe Warehouse, A location for a location for shoes, handbags and accessories at a value price. The store will occupy 20,000 square feet and will be located on the southeast section of the center, next to Best Buy.

Nordstrom Rack will open this October, in a 35,000-square-foot-space, next to JCPenney, also located in the southeast portion of Tempe Marketplace. Nordstrom Rack, the off-price division of Nordstrom, offers top brands and latest fashion trends at discount prices. This will be their fifth location in the Valley.
