PHOENIX—The Opus Group announces it is opening an office in Phoenix and has hired 26-year industry veteran Lawrence Pobuda as senior vice president and general manager of Opus Development Company, L.L.C.

"We see significant growth potential in Phoenix, particularly in the sectors in which we have expertise," said Tim Murnane, president and CEO of Opus Holding, L.L.C. "We're committed to establishing a long-term presence in the Phoenix market, and with Larry's tenure and highly-regarded reputation, he is an excellent addition to our team as we launch our presence in this area."

In his new role, Pobuda will pursue new business opportunities in the Phoenix market across a variety of sectors, including office, industrial and residential.

“I'm thrilled to join Opus and its talented team of commercial real estate professionals,” said Pobuda. “Opus continues to see strong activity across sectors, and with a unique integrated design-build approach they have deep expertise and a strong listing of products and services to offer in this market.”
