LOS ANGELES—PCL Construction has completed the latest renovation of Dodger Stadium, GlobeSt.com reports in this update to an earlier story. The Dodgers have invested $150 million in stadium renovations over the last two seasons. To celebrate the renovations, the Dodgers held a grand opening ceremony yesterday, March 26.

“It's very rewarding to work on such an iconic project,” says Jack Sample, PCL Construction district manager. “We're pleased that PCL's work will help make millions of Dodgers fans more comfortable when visiting the famed Dodger Stadium. Last season, Dodger Stadium led Major League Baseball in attendance with 3,743,527 fans.” Fans will get to see the new renovations on opening day when they will be unveiled to the public.

The renovations include new restaurants and concession stands, entrance gates on the north side of the stadium and a new visiting team clubhouse near the visiting dugout. Hall of Fame Dodger manager Tommy Lasorda opened Tommy Lasorda Trattoria, an Italian food and BBQ restaurant. Renovations also included an expansion of La Taqueria, a staple Dodger Stadium eatery. Mega fans will also be happy to hear that the stadium has new team stores and memorabilia. Most notably, PCL paid tribute to the Dodgers unique heritage, including its history in Brooklyn, NY.
