RICHMOND, CA—LDK Ventures, LLC has purchased a 42-acre industrial site located in Pinole Business Park for industrial development in 2015. LDK says it will immediatelybegin demolition of existing buildings at the site, and concurrently complete environmental remediation of the site.

LDK Ventures purchased the abandoned former Steelscape facility for an undisclosed amount from an ownership group that had owned the site since 2008.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to own a large contiguous block of industrial land in a very supply constrained East Bay Area market,” said Denton Kelley, managing principal. “The Pinole Business Park is one of the highest quality industrial parks in the Bay Area. The site can accommodate up to a 700,000 square foot cross-docked distribution facility. Concurrent with the site preparation, LDK will be marketing the site to potential users,”
