PHOENIX—Jim Wilson of Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona, Inc. was named Top Industrial Broker of the Year at the 2013 Best of NAIOP awards dinner, held at the Arizona Biltmore.

Wilson was chosen among five other nominees, including four brokerage teams. Wilson completed 28 transactions in 2013 worth a total of $171.6 million and 2.246 million square feet. His most significant deals were the sale of the First Solar manufacturing facility in Mesa, Ariz., to Apple for $133 million; and the 80,309 square-foot, seven-year lease worth $9.3 million for the Asurion Call Center in Phoenix.

Wilson has been in commercial real estate for 28 years. He joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1989 and has been a perennial top producer. His primary concentration is the representation of tenants, landlords, sellers and buyers of industrial properties in Metro Phoenix.
