PROSPER TX—A water and sewer extension project has been completed here, providing the infrastructure need for a $1.2 billion residential-commercial development that could one day be home to 20,000 people.

Terra Verde Group plans to build Windsong Ranch as a master-planned community. Town officials, and local economic development proponets see an opportunity for accelerated growth of commercial development north of U.S. 380, according to the Dallas Business Journal.

The public-private infrastructure partnership was completed with the help of the Town of Prosper, Prosper Economic Development Corp. and the major area landowners, including developer Terra Verde and Greater Texas Land Resources.
