LEXINGTON, KY—Boomerang Hotels has just signed an agreement with Ashok and Meena Patel, of Om Shivam #1, LLC to convert their 56-room hotel, located at 2261 Elkhorn Rd. in Lexington, KY to a GuestHouse International. Boomerang will convert the hotel this month.

Boomerang Hotels is a franchise company comprised of Settle Inn & Suites® and GuestHouse International®. It is based out of Hendersonville, TN and Aberdeen, SD. The company has been expanding operations, including, as reported in GlobeSt.com, in China.

“We are pleased to welcome Ashok and Meena to our GuestHouse International franchise,” says Brendan Watters, chief executive officer and president of Boomerang Hotels. “We are very eager to grow our portfolio in Kentucky and Ashok and Meena are great operators which will only help our cause.”

“We decided to franchise with Boomerang Hotels and GuestHouse International because of their non-demanding approach to franchising that puts the franchisees' needs first,” says Meena Patel. “The one-on-one interaction and personal service we have received from the franchise staff has been exceptional.”

The hotel, now named the Lexington GuestHouse International Inn & Suites, will feature 56 rooms with microwave and refrigerators. An indoor swimming pool, business center and guest laundry are also included.
