LOS ANGELES—J. Eric Johnson has joined Kennedy Wilson as senior managing director of the firm's property services group. At the helm of the group, Johnson will focus on expanding the firm's national leasing and management operations as well as growing the company's revenue stream.
Johnson brings 20 years of commercial real estate experience to the firm with a specialty in marketing and business development. “My role will be to focus on our national operations, which include streamlining the firm's internal processes and continuing to cultivate a strong client base,” says Johnson. “The team at Kennedy Wilson is recognized on an international scale and I believe that my background and expertise create a strong synergy with their current operations.” He will cover local, regional and national markets for the firm.
This isn't Johnson's first time running a property management group. He most recently served as the regional managing director for Colliers International, where he fostered the firm's property management team. While at the company, he also acquired 8 million square feet of new assignments. His 20-year resume also includes runs at CB Richard Ellis and Trammell Crow Co., where he had equal successes, which include doubling the company's margin and overseeing 68 million square feet of client properties.
