AUSTIN–CBRE has been awarded the exclusive leasing assignment of 2.96 million square feet of industrial space. The properties are part of a recent IndCor Properties Inc. purchase of a 9.6-million-square-foot portfolio from GE Capital Real Estate.
Chicago-based IndCor Properties, a portfolio company of The Blackstone Group, purchased the large industrial portfolio at the end of February. As GlobeSt.com reported, the deal increased the company's total square footage to 117 million square feet, with properties in Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Portland, Los Angeles and Denver.
CBRE's Mark Emerick, John Barksdale, Ace Schlameus and Darryl Dadon will handle the leasing for the Austin portfolio.
“The diversified portfolio can accommodate a wide range of tenants,” Emerick says.
CBRE executives will also manage the new IndCor properties in Dallas, 19 buildings in all, as well as San Antonio.
