CHICAGO—The suburbs continue to struggle with vacancies, but many office properties remain appealing. The Missner Group has just acquired the former home of Japanese electronics firm OMRON, a pair of single-story office properties totaling 75,000-square-feet in suburban Schaumburg. This opportunity arose when the company decided to move its headquarters to a 71,139-square-foot property in Hoffman Estates’ Greenspoint Office Park.

Located a half mile east of the I-90 and Roselle Rd. interchange, the buildings, which have 52,000-square-feet and 23,000-square-feet, sit on seven contiguous acres of land at 1 E. Commerce Dr. and 55 E. Commerce Dr.
