MIAMI—Sperry Van Ness is pushing its auction services program nationwide, adding location and regional advisors in cities across the United States—and it all starts in Florida. Jerry Anderson, executive managing director of SVN Auction Services, is spearheading the project from his Miami office.

SVN claims it's breaking from the traditional commercial real estate auction model—one it says typically features auctioneer generalists trying to cover large swaths of territory and serve a wide range of clients. “SVN Auction Services understands that all real estate is local, and that it's crucial to bring the basic fundamentals back to commercial real estate and put the clients' interest first—and that's what we're doing,” Jerry Anderson, executive managing director of SVN Auction Services, tells GlobeSt.com. “We're precisely matching our Sperry Van Ness auction Advisors—professionals who live and breathe the local market—to clients' specific needs.”
