ATLANTA—John Ferguson has climbed the ranks at CBRE all the way to the president of the Southeast Region. The commercial real estate firm just announced his promotion.

Ferguson has led CBRE's Southeast Region since January 2011. According to CBRE, he was promoted to president because of his “outstanding performance” in various levels of leadership, including new business development, business and sales management, market and industry leadership, client relationships, and people management.

“This is a well-deserved promotion for John,” says Cal Frese, CEO of CBRE's Americas region. “He is an exemplary market leader who has excelled over an extended time period. John has consistently produced superior financial results while exhibiting strong leadership qualities and upholding our core values.”
