DALLAS–Kimco Realty has sold Mesquite Town Centre Plaza to QEH Mesquite LLC. The acquisition price was not disclosed. Mesquite Town Centre Plaza is a 209,766-square-foot retail property that sits on nearly 15 acres in Mesquite, TX.

Mesquite Town Centre Plaza was an opportunity to buy a high performing center in the regional retail hub of Mesquite,” says Tom Salanty, executive director with Cushman & Wakefield. “Interest in the property was strong, attracting multiple bidders, furthering evidence of demand for retail real estate in the Town East trade area.”

The property, which is 80% occupied, is anchored by Burlington Coat Factory and Ashley Furniture. The anchor tenants occupy 57% of the total space.

Mesquite Town Centre Plaza sits adjacent to the 1.2-million-square-foot Town East Mall, which sees 20 million visitors annually.

C&W's Salanty, Chris Harden and Kris Von Hohn represented Kimco Realty. C&W did not return requests for comment before deadline.
