CHICAGO—J.C. Anderson, Inc., the Chicago-based interior general contractor, has just been selected to complete a 21,000-square-foot office renovation for Ignite USA at 180 N. LaSalle St. in Chicago. As reported in GlobeSt.com, the company, a product designer which markets its products under the Contigo and Avex brands, recently decided to move from its West Loop offices into the CBD. One thing that Ignite wanted to retain, however, was the open, collaborative environment it enjoyed in the West Loop.

J.C. Anderson will complete the necessary build-out to the Central Loop building's seventh floor, which will serve as the new headquarters for Ignite. The full-floor renovation to the new space will include demolition and a reconfiguration including private offices, conference rooms and open work areas. The construction is scheduled for completion this summer.

The construction team for J.C. Anderson is led by project manager Jason Hawkins. BOX Studios is providing the architectural services. Christopher Wood, executive vice president and managing director of DTZ in Chicago, and Jordan Decker, an associate vice president, represented property ownership, which agreed to complete a build-out as part of the lease agreement.
