DALLAS–Capital Senior Living Corp. has named Carey Hendrickson to the senior vice president and CFO role. Hendrickson will replace Ralph Beattie, who will retire in the middle of May.

“His 22 years of public company experience in a multi-site geographically concentrated media company will be a tremendous asset to our management team as we focus our operations and growth in geographically concentrated regions,” said CEO Lawrence Cohen, in a statement. “We look forward to his joining our Company and leading our finance, accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations and information technology areas.”

Prior to joining Capital Senior Living, Hendrickson spent 22 years at Belo Corp., where he held a variety of finance and administration positions. Most recently he was the company's CFO. He also held positions as chief accounting officer, vice president of Human Resources, vice president of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications as well as vice president of Strategic and Financial Planning.

Beattie, who has worked 15 years for Capital Senior Living, will continue on as a consultant.

Dallas-based Capital Senior Living operates 112 senior living communities in 23 states throughout the US.
