LIVINGSTON, NJ– Feinstein, Raiss, Kelin & Booker, a 23-year-old real estate law firm, held an elegant “office warming” attended by nearly 300 of its clients Tuesday evening in its new space at the Eisenhower Corporate Campus here.
The firm, previously based in West Orange, has taken a long-term lease of 8,500 square feet square feet at Eastman Companies' 380,000-square-foot office complex. The campus, which has a newly completed 600-space parking garage, snagged FRKB with its abundant amenities, Richard S. Kelin, a co-founder and a managing partner of the firm, told GlobeSt.com at the event.
“The building is beautiful and it broadcasts prestige,” said Kelin. “The 220-seat auditorium, where we can hold seminars, the individual and executive conference rooms available to us as tenants, multi-media, Wi-Fi, now the new parking garage. Also, the cafeteria is first-rate and offers customized catering.”
A stand-up banquet was presented in three capacious conference rooms at the firm's event, billed as both a thank-you party for its clientele and an opportunity to show off the new offices. Eastman hustled to open the new garage ahead of schedule for the event, said Peter Schofel, president of the real estate company. The cafeteria offered kosher catering to suit the firm's Orthodox clients, noted FRKB's Tracey Goldstein, who specializes in real estate litigation.
The crowd continued to swell throughout the evening and partners made brief remarks toward the end of the party. “This new office is a reflection of how we have grown since our founding almost 23 years ago and our unwavering commitment to meet the unique needs of today's clients,” said Larry Raiss, one of the founders of the firm.
The Eisenhower Center, located at 290 West Mount Pleasant Ave. just off the Eisenhower Parkway, is about 70% leased, said Schofel. There is 135,00 square feet available.
