Transwestern Expands Prop. Mgmt. Services

CHICAGO—After starting off the year with the acquisition of a suburban real estate group with a 20-member team, the Houston-based Transwestern has continued beefing up its local staff in a variety of sectors. Its latest hire, Amy Lind, has just joined the Chicago office as senior vice president of property management. Lind will work alongside Bob DeMarke, also senior vice president, in overseeing property management across the Midwest. She will help deliver all property-level services to existing clients and pursue new management and leasing business.

“Amy’s experience, certifications and recognitions make her an ideal team member for Transwestern’s property management group,” said Mike Watts, Transwestern’s Midwest president, in a prepared statement. “Her experience in CBD, high-rise and suburban office management in cities around the country will be highly valuable here.” He could not immediately be reached for further comment.
