HOUSTON–Energy XXI Services has renewed its lease at One City Centre and expanded its space by 25%. The company will now occupy 171,016 square feet.

Terms of the new long-term lease deal were not disclosed. Transwestern's David Baker, tells GlobeSt.com, that the building is now 90.6% occupied.

Energy XXI, which has occupied space in the class A office building since 2005, needs the new space immediately and will move in as soon as the build-out is complete, Baker says.

Beacon Investment Properties owns the 29-story, 608,660-square-foot property. Other tenants include Waste Management, Wells Fargo and Ballard Exploration.

“Energy XXI is an important tenant to One City Centre,” says Mike Adams, Beacon's Houston-based asset manager. “It's been exciting to watch the firm grow in the last several years, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to expand and extend Energy XXI's lease at One City Centre.”
