MOUNT LAUREL, NJ—AnnieMac Home Mortgage recommitted to eight more years and significantly expanded its headquarters lease at 700 East Gate Drive here, broker Newmark Grubb Knight Frank tells GlobeSt.com.
AnnieMac, which is a direct lender specializing in new home mortgages and refinancings, will occupy 51,000 square feet. It had previously leased 30,000 square feet at the five-story, 119,000-square-foot office building in the East Gate Corporate Center owned by Brandywine. East Gate is the largest business park in southern New Jersey.
AnnieMac has grown rapidly, to establish over 50 branch locations in the country, according to Frank D. Recine of NGKF, who represented AnnieMac in the deal. “AnnieMac's success necessitated its need to expand operations at its headquarters," said Recine, who exclusively represents the lender nationally.
Brandywine Realty Trust was represented in-house by Larry Meister.
East Gate is located at the intersections of four major commuter routes: I-295, the NJ Turnpike, Route 73 and Route 38. It features a café and loading dock, and is close to restaurants, shopping and hotels.
