KANSAS CITY—NAI Global has about 350 offices in 55 countries throughout the world and now has added one more, this time in the Kansas City metropolitan area. LaSala-Sonnenberg in suburban Overland Park, KS, has become the newest member firm, and is now known as NAI LaSala-Sonnenberg.

Formed by Carl LaSala and Ray Sonnenberg in 1987, the firm is now managed by three additional partners, Chad LaSala, Mike Sonnenberg and Brandon LaSala. NAI Global officials say they expect that collectively the new member firm will bring in deep knowledge of the local market.

“We are delighted to welcome NAI LaSala-Sonnenberg to the NAI Global network and offer NAI Global Members access to expanded opportunities in Kansas City,” said Jay Olshonsky, president, NAI Global, in a prepared statement. He was not available for comment at press time, but GlobeSt.com will provide an update with his thoughts on the move in the latter part of this week.

“We selected LaSala-Sonnenberg as our local member firm to serve this market based on a combination of their outstanding reputation for client service and record of success, the depth of their local market strength and experience of the team,” he added.

NAI LaSala-Sonnenberg specializes in retail, office, industrial and medical facility properties. It provides local, regional and national clients with brokerage services, tenant and landlord representation and excess property disposition. NAI Global was acquired in 2012 by C-III Capital Partners.

“NAI Global is a strong brand with a proven platform that will facilitate our firm's growth locally and enhance the ability to assist our clients in other markets,” said Brandon LaSala.
