JERSEY CITY, NJ-Salman Capital is the buyer of the historic office tower at 35 Journal Square that traded Monday for $31 million. The company, which owns commercial property in Brooklyn and the Bronx, imade its first acquisition in New Jersey with the deal.

The original information on the transaction from GFI Realty Services did not include the buyer’s identity. GFI represented the seller, Sackman Enterprises of Manhattan and also Salman.
