MIAMI—Medical Technologies Innovators has doubled its footprint in Miami by signing a five-year lease for 21,586 square feet in Building 32 at Flagler Station II here.

The company's new warehouse space fronts NW 106 Street just off the Florida Turnpike. The medical and hospital equipment firm was previously located within Blue Lagoon Business Park at 6701 NW 7th Street in Miami.

Stephen DiGiacomo, SIOR of the DiGiacomo Group, who represented Medical Technologies Innovators in its search for a new and modern warehouse facility, announced the lease deal

“Finding the right facility in just the right location was very important and making a very significant reduction in the rent and operating expense was frosting on the cake,” DiGiacomo says.

Flagler Station Building 32, which totals 269,918 square feet, along with Building 34, which totals 251,720 square feet, is nearing completion. The deal brings Building 32 to 80% pre-leased.

During the second quarter, developer Flagler Global Logistics will begin construction on Building 35 (104,246 square feet), Building 36 (129,600 square feet) and Building 38 (135,000 square feet). Building 36 is already 60% pre-leased.

Flagler Station and Flagler Global Logistics are represented by Chris Sutton, SIOR and Robert Richter.
