CHICAGO—Trammell Crow Co., a commercial real estate developer and investor, has just promoted both Jerry Ebert and Johnny Carlson senior vice president within the firm's Midwest Business Unit.

“Jerry and Johnny have established themselves as leaders within the business unit, as well as throughout the Chicago and Minneapolis real estate communities,” says Grady Hamilton, principal and head of Trammell Crow's Midwest unit. “Their knowledge of the Midwest real estate market and experience in their respective product types will continue to be a tremendous asset as we complete our current projects under development, start several others this summer, and seek new development deals to add to our pipeline.”

As senior vice president, Ebert will continue overseeing the construction and design aspects of the company's development and acquisition activity throughout the Midwest, including the management of contractors, architects and engineers.

Johnny Carlson, who has been with Trammell Crow since 2012, will continue to focus on the development and acquisition of office, industrial and multi-family developments throughout Chicago and Minneapolis.

TCC's Midwest unit recently completed Midtown Business Center, an 185,407-square-foot speculative industrial building developed with partner Artis REIT in suburban Roseville, now fully-leased. The team will also deliver 485 apartment units over three projects by year end, including Junction Flats, a 182-unit apartment project in Minneapolis' North Loop neighborhood, Midtown Square, a 138-unit apartment community with 8,600-square-feet of retail space in Glenview, IL and Arcata, a 165-unit multifamily project being developed with partner Investors Real Estate Trust in Golden Valley, MN.
