SAN RAMON, CA—Cleary Bros. Landscape, Inc. is preparing to expand its reach beyond the Bay Area. With several key appointments to its personnel infrastructure and new office locations added on a regular basis, the firm says it is in position to become a major regional player.
One of the new staff appointments is arborist Hudson Puente. A former intern at the prestigious Smithsonian National Zoological Park in Washington, D.C., Puente is widely regarded as a rising star in the landscape industry. He received a highly coveted post-graduate professional internship with Disney World's Horticulture Department in Orlando where he was also recognized for his outstanding achievements.
Puente has professional tree expert certifications from American Society of Registered Consulting Arborists, International Society of Arboriculture and Tree Care Industry Association. His new roles and responsibilities with Cleary Bros. will be to lead a service team for some of the company's broad list of maintenance clients as well as developing new business in the East Bay and the Tri-Valley areas.
"I'm excited to join the Cleary Bros. team and hopefully become a contributor right away," Puente states. "I have a lot to learn about their operations, but it's a fantastic environment. Everyone has been very supportive."
The new structure and personnel in place firmly establishes Cleary Bros.' footprint in Northern California and hints at what is to come. Company co-founder Martin Cleary is confident about the new direction in place for the business. "We've enjoyed steady growth over the past 27 years and that puts us in a position to expand into new markets," he says.
Cleary Bros. Landscape, Inc. is a family owned and operated business. Mike and Martin Cleary both have horticulture and landscape design degrees from the University of California, Davis. They have served the Bay Area with residential and commercial landscape construction and maintenance since 1987.
