WACO, TX–Asset Campus Housing has plans in place to build an off-campus student housing community for Baylor University students. Construction will begin this Spring, with completion slated for the start of the 2015 school year. The total development cost was not disclosed.

“Along with the outstanding need of high-end, quality student housing, and with the addition of the football stadium, there is an undeniable buzz surrounding this university,” Barrett Kirk, senior vice president of development for Asset Campus, tells GlobeSt.com.

The Domain at Waco will include 186 units for a total of 564 beds. Floor plans within the gated community will vary to include one- two- and four-bedroom apartments and townhomes. The average unit size will be roughly 1,188 square feet. Residents will sign individual leases, responsible only for their bed and not the rent of the entire apartment.
