DETROIT—Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions, a commercial real estate firm with operations across the country, has just hired Andrew Ledger as its new business development manager.

Ledger will conduct market research and help identify new clients and markets for the Farmington Hills, MI-based firm, and coordinate plans to capture new business. In addition, he will survey existing clients to ensure performance.

Friedman currently manages over 140 facilities with more than 16 million-square-feet of commercial space and about 7,000 multi-family units. Its brokerage team has over 800 current listings with $10 billion in closed transactions.

As reported in GlobeSt.com, the firm recently helped negotiate the sale of 5750 New King Dr., a three-story, approximately 91,000-square-foot class A office building in suburban Troy, MI. In addition, it also handled the sale of the Metro West Apartments, one of Columbus' largest apartment complexes. The community was the largest value-add multi-family asset in the Midwest.

Prior to joining Friedman, Ledger served as senior vice president and partner at True North Real Estate, LLC in Denver, where he specialized in commercial project management, cost analysis, landlord negotiations, expansion management, and disposition. He was also senior vice president and partner at Southwestern Investment Group.

A graduate of Michigan State University and the Eli Broad College of Business in East Lansing, Ledger says he is excited to be returning to Michigan and become part of the revitalization of the commercial real estate market in Metro Detroit.

“With his vast understanding of retail lease and sales transactions and broad experience in development and acquisition, he will be a great addition to our team,” says David Friedman, president and chief executive officer.
