ORLANDO—There is no lack of real estate conferences, but this one is worth noting. Some of Florida's sharpest real estate minds and policy makers are converging at the Urban Land Institute's (ULI) annual statewide summit.

Scheduled for June 12-13 at Walt Disney World's Swan Resort in Orlando, the theme is “Moving Florida Forward.” Civic leaders and land use experts will discuss Florida's
economy, transit and infrastructure, capital markets, sustainability, and development trends. Bestselling novelist and award-winning journalist Carl Hiaasen is among the conference speakers.
