WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ−Ron Ladell, the senior vice-president of AvalonBay Communities has been honored by the Monmouth University Kislak Real Estate Institute with its Leadership Excellence award.

The award is conferred annually for “distinctive contributions to the state of New Jersey and the nation through a career in real estate.” Over 530 people attended the event here last Thursday evening. Assemblyman John McKeon introduced Ladell.

Ladell oversees AvalonBay's development activities throughout New Jersey. The company owns and operates 18 residential communities with more than 6,400 apartments and is currently building communities in Wharton, Roseland, Bloomfield and Princeton.
