PARAMUS, NJ−One of the new STAPLES “right-sized” stores has opened in 15,500 square feet here, two driveways away from its old location in 22,000 square feet.

Roger Gross, an NAI National Realty broker/co-owner of the former Super GAP shopping center at 501 Route 17 South, arranged the lease.

The STAPLES office supply chain is in the midst of re-sizing its stores. STAPLES is also placing greater on electronics, and mobile phones in its new stores. Gross said the new Paramus location offered more efficient design, with better access.

This new STAPLES store is offering greeting cards, cleaning supplies, and coffee, in addition to its other wares, according to Gross.

Nelson Construction, based in Paramus, completed the build-out of the space.

The shopping center is now fully leased, except for the 3,500-square-foot southern end cap space.

Richard Brock of NIA National is marketing the end cap at $46per square foot , triple net.
