MIAMI—You might call it a sale of historic proportions. The Old US Post Office in Downtown Miami just sold for $11 million.

Located at 100-118 Northeast 1st Avenue, the nearly 100-year-old building sold to Daniel Pena-Giraldi. The buyer plans to restore the building to its turn-of-the-century grandeur. Metro 1 commercial director Tony Arellano represented the seller.

Metro 1 founder Tony Cho called it a “landmark deal.” He expects the “historic property will be revitalized and again become a focal point of Downtown Miami's dynamic and changing core.”
