CHICAGO—For ten years, Mason Awtry, the president of Rightsize Facility Performance, has been building a company that aims to help business people that have no expertise in office design when it's time to remake their office. And now, he says the company has just added the final piece to the puzzle.

Rightsize has chosen to partner with Global – The Total Office and will represent the North American manufacturer of affordable office furnishings in the Chicago market. The billion-dollar manufacturer provides furniture for the corporate, healthcare, education and hospitality markets in a range of styles and prices.

According to Awtry, having a major provider of affordable furniture allows Rightsize to provide a fullest possible range of products for every type of client. Rightsize clients can take advantage of the company's blended solution and choose from pre-owned, refurbished and new office furniture whatever their functional needs or budgets.

“We are pleased to be representing Global in the Chicago market and thrilled to offer our clients enhanced, one-stop shopping for quality furniture that is both functional and budget friendly,” says Awtry.

Out of its 200,000-square-foot showroom at 5000 W. Roosevelt Rd. in Chicago and a design studio and sales office in River North, Rightsize provides workstations, desks, seating, file cabinets, conference and reception furniture, as well as taking on decommissions, furniture buybacks and deliveries.

It now handles about 300 office spaces a month. The jobs range from quick space plans for a few cubicles that they can turn around in hours to complete redesigns and renovations of 450,000-square-foot spaces that can take months.

And Rightsize can now access Global's full line of office furnishings which includes systems furniture, wood veneer and laminate casegoods, seating, and filing solutions, all with the Global, Globalcare, Offices To Go or Evolve brands.

“Global brings innovation, technology advancement and sustainable practices to the forefront while maintaining affordability,” says Jim Peters, vice president and suburban team lead for Rightsize. “To be able to offer our clients, regardless of industry, greater access to quality furniture solutions further differentiates our business in the Chicago market and beyond.”
