Joe Sitt Named Entrepreneur of the Year

NEW YORK CITY—He oversees a real estate empire valued at over $5 billion and totaling more than 15 million square feet.

NEW YORK CITY—Real estate executive Joseph Sitt, co-founder and CEO of TOWN Residential and founder and CEO of Thor Equities, has been named Entrepreneur of the Year by EY. Sitt launched his first business venture, Thor Equities, while still an undergraduate at New York University. Today, he heads up TOWN Residential, a luxury residential brokerage service, and presides over a real estate development and investment portfolio valued at over $5 billion and totaling more than 15 million square feet. Sitt also serves as chairman and founder of the Global Gateway Alliance, which works to address the infrastructure challenges facing New York metropolitan area airports.
