OKLAHOMA CITY–Milhaus has begun construction on a $42 million, mixed-used development project in the Midtown district. LIFT will bring 329 units to the area.

“With so many options, more Oklahoma City residents can experience a high-end urban lifestyle while keeping monthly rent costs in check,” says Terry Hughes, VP of Development for Milhaus. “Midtown is a thriving neighborhood, and LIFT will add much needed housing and help to create the critical mass to ensure the long-term vitality of the area.”

Situated on 3 acres of land on the northwest corner of 10 Street and Shartel Avenue, the apartment community will consist of four- and five-story buildings. Beyond the one-, two- and three-bedroom units, there will also be 4,700 square feet of commercial space and a 445-space parking garage.

“As a company, we are focused on impactful projects which will stand the test of time and, create better community places,” Hughes says. “We look forward to delivering LIFT and continuing to make an impact in Oklahoma City through future projects for years to come.”

Amenities at LIFT will include a media room; central kitchen, game room, fitness studio, yoga room, children's plan area and three courtyards, which will each contain a swimming pool and outdoor kitchen. The open-floor concept units will contain granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and designer fixtures.

LIFT is Milhaus' first project outside of their home-base of Indiana and the surrounding states. Construction financing was provided by Regions Bank.
