SAN DIEGO—Locally based real estate firm, Trigild, has its eye on expanding its commercial third party management business. In that capacity, the firm has named Patrick Walker as its new director of asset services.

In Walker's new role, he will be in charge of all forms of business development, as well as further accelerating Trigild's continued regional and national growth. According to Trigild president Judy Hoffman, this is a newly created position specifically aimed at growing the firm's third party management business, especially in Southern California.

“Patrick's substantial track record in commercial real estate positions us to strategically expand our management presence in the commercial arena,” Hoffman says. “Over nearly 40 years, we have built a strong operating platform locally, regionally and nationally, and now our focus is it raise awareness of our strong infrastructure and capabilities.”

For the past 10 years, Walker has been with Voit Real Estate Services, most recently as a senior associate for the firm's operations across the Western US. Prior to that, he was an associate for three years for the San Francisco Bay Area firm, BT Commercial Real Estate. Throughout his career, he has marketed, sold, managed and leased more than 12 million square feet of premiere office, industrial and R&D space.

He earned his Bachelor of science degree in political science from Oregon State University, and now lives in San Clemente, where he has served as defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach at San Clemente High School.
