HOUSTON–DCT Industrial Trust has pre-leased 190,000 square feet of its 362,000-square-foot project, which is still under construction at DCT Northwest Crossroads Logistics Centre. Lenox International, a climate control solutions manufacturer, will occupy the space when construction completes before early 2015.

“We are very pleased that we could provide a class A, high-quality solution to an expanding user in the marketplace,” says Justin Bennett, regional vice president for DCT Industrial. “We continue to see significant growth in the Houston market and believe the pre-leasing of our most recent development is a testament to the strength of DCT's development program as we continue to source highly-desirable locations.”

Construction on this first building began in the second quarter of 2014. At full-build out the industrial park will include 682,000 square feet in two buildings. Phase II will begin later this year.

DCT Industrial's own Will Hedges represented the company while Lennox was represented by Gene Allred of Allred & Associates. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
